01Who we are and what this policy covers
Alto HR is the trade name of Alto Etho LLC, a workforce company headquartered at 495 Grand Boulevard, Suite 206, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. In this policy, "Alto HR", "we" and "us" mean Alto Etho LLC.
This policy covers personal information we collect through www.altohr.com and its country versions, through our forms, and when you contact us by phone, email or text about work or our services. Associates we employ also receive an employee privacy notice when they join, which covers payroll, tax and personnel records in more detail.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes described in this policy.
From job seekers
Name, phone, email, city, the work you want, your availability, answers about work authorization, and any resume you attach.
From businesses
Your name, business name, work email and phone, locations and the staffing needs you describe.
From sponsors and professionals
Organization details, contact information and the program or project information you choose to share.
From reports and messages
Whatever you choose to tell us in a misconduct report or a message. Contact details on reports are optional.
03Information we collect when we employ you
When Alto HR hires you as an associate, the law requires us to collect more: identity and employment eligibility documents (Form I-9), tax information (Form W-4), your Social Security number and the details we need to pay you. Client sites where you work may share your hours and feedback on your work with us.
We keep this information separately from website submissions, limit it to the staff who need it, and handle it as required by federal and Florida employment and tax law.
04Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request, to run the website securely and to investigate misuse.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies, and it does not load third-party trackers. The only outside service a page loads is the Google map on our Contact page (see section 9).

Serving businesses
Answering enquiries, preparing quotes, delivering and invoicing our services.
Employing and paying associates
Onboarding, payroll, tax reporting, benefits eligibility and employment records.
Protecting people
Investigating misconduct reports, preventing fraud and job scams, and keeping workplaces safe.
Meeting legal duties
Complying with employment, immigration, tax and program rules and with lawful requests from authorities.
Running the website
Keeping the site secure, fixing problems and improving how it works.
06Calls, texts and emails
If you give us your phone number and agree on our forms, we may call or text you about jobs, your application or your assignment. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling your recruiter, or emailing info@altohr.com.
We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
If you sign up for job alerts, we use your email address and the job title and location you choose only to email you matching jobs, after you confirm your address. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
08How we protect it
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored in access-controlled systems. Staff who can see them sign in with two-step verification, and every access to submissions is recorded in an audit log. We limit access to the people who need the information for their work.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information has been exposed, contact us right away. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
10How long we keep it
Applications and resumes
Up to 3 years, so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Employment records
For as long as federal and Florida law require, for example Forms I-9 and payroll records.
Business enquiries
As long as needed to respond and for our ordinary business records.
Server logs
Up to 12 months, unless needed longer to investigate a security issue.
11Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it) or stop contacting you. We will not treat you differently for making a request. We respond within 30 days, and we may need to confirm your identity first. You can use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.

12Visitors outside the United States
Alto HR is based in the United States, and information you submit is stored and processed in the United States. If you contact us from Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Puerto Rico or elsewhere, we handle your information as described in this policy, and you can exercise the rights in section 11 wherever you live.
13Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Some roles are open to applicants aged 16 or 17 where the law allows; we handle their information with the same care. If you believe a child under 16 has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year. When we make a significant change, we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
