Our commitment
Alto HR wants everyone to be able to find work, apply for jobs and contact us through this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.
We design and build this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility problems as defects to fix, not features to add later.
How the website is built
Works for everyone
Every page works without JavaScript, including menus, forms and job listings.
Real controls
Standard buttons, links and labelled form fields, with visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
Readable contrast
Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast, including our gold brand color.
Calm motion
Animations switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
Easy to tap
Buttons and links on phones are at least 44 pixels high.
Three languages
Pages are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with the page language marked for screen readers.
How we test
Before changes go live, we run automated accessibility checks on key pages at desktop and phone sizes and check keyboard navigation. We review pages with screen readers as part of larger changes.
Known limitations
Some content comes from other sources: news headlines link to other publishers’ websites, which we do not control, and downloadable PDF documents may not work fully with every screen reader. If you need any document in another format, ask us and we will provide it.
